Support our community and school district by:
Collecting school supplies for North Hills Community Outreach (photos)
Holding school directors accountable
Supporting PR staff. We've given teachers, librarians, counselors and others a voice and/or amplified their messages when they haven't felt comfortable speaking up. It's crucial for the community to understand how our educators are feeling and what they are going through.
Rallying community members to support our educators, the success of our students and school district, the freedom to read, etc. (SOS budget rally photos)

Frequently Asked Questions
Who runs Together for PR?
The group is run primarily by a small group of in-district volunteers. No current school directors or employees of the Pine-Richland School District run or otherwise make decisions for Together for PR. Officers: Alison Duncan (chair); Rebeccah Hoffman (vice chair); Chris Bonneau (treasurer); Emily Robbibaro (secretary). We occasionally enlist the help of advisors from across Allegheny County.
When was Together for PR started?
Together for PR was started in December 2021 following the November board elections.
Do you have paid employees?
No. The organization is run entirely by volunteers.
Do you have nonprofit status?
The organization does not have nonprofit status at this time. All donations go into the same account, but we do track donations made for specific candidates or uses.
Why does your Facebook page say you are a “Political Organization”
Facebook considers social issues, like education, to be political. In order to run ads about social and educational topics on Instagram and Facebook, we have to be vetted as a legitimate organization. That aside, we estimate that about one-third to one-half of our work is political in nature (Pine-Richland school board elections).
Why do you have a PAC, and what kind is it?
Together for PR has a local political committee of the same name registered with Allegheny County. Donations are almost entirely grassroots, local. We use a registered political committee for purposes of transparency; we report all activity as required by law, and it is publicly available via the Allegheny County website.
